Love it!
I travel a bit more than average, I have been using a standard backpack as my carry on and it works but is giving me some back issues. I have looked for a while for a new carry on….I didn’t have great expectations for this bag but WOW!! Blown away!!! This bag is beautiful, sturdy the inside has multiple slots and pockets much better than expected for the price.

Disappointing with the look
Let me start with the positives.-the leather is thick and high quality-the hardware feels tough-size seems great.Now the negative.-I travel multiple weeks a month and was looking for a new weekender style bag. The bag’s color looks nothing like the photos. It has an orangey tan tiger stripe look to it and it is ugly. The bag came with a nice note thanking my purchase and to email with them with any problems. Unfortunately, they forgot to attach an email.I purchased a toiletry bag as well from this maker and it is incredible. Unfortunately with this bag I am now out of my return window so it will probably go in the back of my closet unused until I toss it or donate it. Too bad it is really well made but man it’s ugly.

Absolutely awesome!
I purchased this beautiful bag for my husband who is very particular about his leather products. Boy did you hit it “out of the park”! Racing home from work to get ready for a business trip, and flying to take a shower, he rushed past our room, only to stop in his tracks because his periferal vision had caught sight of your beautiful bag, which he then exclaimed, “Whoa! That’s gorgeous!! (Needless to say, his packed bag was a surprise). Now, if you knew my husband, you’d know, he’s very laid back, doesn’t really react too much, but this was truly the best reaction to date! As a matter of fact, he mentioned that individuals at the airport, flight, and hotel kept making comments on just how beautiful the bag was.

Attractive and perfect for carry-on travel
Very well-made product. All seams and stitching are finished very nicely; there wasn’t a single loose thread anywhere on my bag. It has plenty of volume inside, and the pockets for pens and cell phone is a nice touch. My 10-inch tablet didn’t quite fit into the other inside pocket, but my kindle paperwhite fit perfectly. The bag itself fit perfectly into the overhead compartment without zero stuffing or shoving required. The bag is very good-looking, in addition to being very functional. Despite being new, it has a slightly distressed or weathered look which is very attractive. I actually received several compliments from fellow travelers and an Uber driver. I’m very much looking forward to years of travel with my new carry-on duffel. Five stars

Prefect weekend size

Solid bargain for your money
This duffle bag has gotten me tons of compliments. Looks like a very, very expensive bag for a reasonable price. I don’t normally leave reviews but I am extremely satisfied with my purchase. If you are hesitant about quality, I understand, but this isn’t one you have to worry about.

Too Good to be true!
I had to get on here and write a review about this great bag. The bag is beautiful. It looks better in person the leather is great quality. There is no weird smell from lather treatment. It’s advertised as a man’s bag but I’m a woman and it’s perfect for me. It’s definitely worth the price. Would buy from them again,

I love this bag – I think I would sleep in it if I could. I agree with those who say the actual product is nicer than the pictures. Great value, looks awesome, good size (between a med-sized roller bag and a doctor’s bag). A couple of things I would add that aren’t clear from the pics: One is that there are feet on the bottom that appear to be as tough as everything else. And also that it has a sturdy liner (which I think is likely a cotton blend). This bag is a far greater value than it costs and I can’t wait to start using it on the road.

Nice bag for the money
Very nice bag overall.A few nitpicks:- Retail price of $449 is exagerated. I have seen made in US and Italy bags of similar size, and at least equal in construction quality, and leather quality at quite a bit lower retail prices.- It will be ideal if the bag dimensions are an inch or more in HxWxD. It’s just my preference.- The leather loops to hold the hardware could have been a bit wider. The bag would be more solid/secured, perhaps last longer?Even with the above mentioned points, I’m pleased with the bag for the actual price I paid.

Quality and design.

Incredible travel bag
It’s real leather, handmade, looks super stylish and something worth $1,000. I recently took it as my overhead bin carry-on item for a 3-day weekend trip with: 1 pair of shoes, 1 dress shirt, 1 pair of denim jeans, 2 long sleeve t-shirts, 3 short sleeve t-shirts, belt, underwear/socks, toiletry bag (full), and a 15 inch MacBook + charger. All of that fit in there, a little tight only because of the laptop and I had no issues closing the zipper.If you’re into style/fashion, appreciate handmade leather items, you won’t be disappointed with this bag. Looks really manly too.

As others have suggested in regard to this bag I have been quite pleased with all aspects of my purchase. The service and delivery were 5 star without a hitch. I received my bag and was, like others, very happy with the workmanship, leather quality, zippers, compartments, stitching and obvious durability I know I can expect with this bag. Good quality , good price
Just received the bag. It looks and feels like a good quality bag. The leather is a lot more firm than I expected. Not sure if I like that. It should be good for a weekend trip but not more than 2- 3 days, at least for me.I’m satisfied with the purchase. Hopefully the leather softens up over time.

The smell tells all.
I dont write reviews unless I sincerely like the products and want to help support the company that makes them and here we go because I am pretty excited about this bag. The amount of solid craftsmanship that went into THIS much leather is immediately apparent when you first see this thing in person. But the smell if this leather gives away its quality before anything else. I could smell it through the packaging almost. Its amazing quality leather and its been worked beautifully.Nice sturdy zippers. Solid stitching. Rugged thick leather. Useful inside pouches and pockets. For a 3-4 day bag this was right on the money for me. I bought the toiletry bag they have as well just to have the set.I am an immediate fan of this company. If you like nice leather products and you need an overnight bag, you wont be disappointed with this one. Rustic Town for the win! 🥳

Didn’t expect much but was quite impressed. I’ve ordered leather travel bags in the past and have learned the hard way the photos don’t always jibe with reality. The bag is a bit smaller than a regulation check-in, so consider this is a great personal bag for weekends, etc. If you want to pack it as a carry-on, you may want a slightly larger bag. Not small by any measure, just not maxed out. In any event, the leather is full thickness and feels like a saddle. Stitching appears straight and true with very strong gusseting and handles sewn into straps that run down the entire height of the bag for what should be very strong weight bearing ability. The looks of the leather bears little resemblance to the photos which, in my opinion appear a bit bizarre. There are no crazy lines and patches of color, thank God. The leather simply looks distressed, varying between brown and tan with a dull, dusty oiled leather look. I tried scratching with my fingernail over the attached luggage tag creating a light tan line in the leather. Rubbing it with my finger it was almost gone. Love the ability of the bag to do hard work for years and look great distressed. I’m sending 2 of the bags back to Amazon but will definitely keep this one and a larger carry on. The “fine Italian” bag I was interesting in comparing to this one? Not so fine. The quality of this bag is top notch and it will look great with jeans or khakis. A black suit? Maybe not, if you care about that sort of thing. I’ve now been through 6 bags and while not the biggest bag I own, it is among the best I’ve seen for quality and looks. Seems to me this bag will be the last I’ll need to buy.

What an amazing beautiful bag. However, I don’t recommend doing with the manufacturer, says about scrunching the bag to create the pull out effect. I think it looks beautiful brand new with minimal pull out and overtime as scratches necks and bends occur. The pull out effect will naturally happen let it build its character on its own.

High Quality
The craftsmanship is amazing the quality is top notch the leather is incredible thick but soft. . This bag is heavy for a duffel . The handles are ample they will never break from normal use . Also the hard wear the buttons and hooks for shoulder strap are top quality. This bag is totally high end I feel blessed to own it . Also the problem I always ran into with other duffel s was the strap would be to short. That IS NoT the case here I’m 5’6 215 with Big shoulders and it’s more then enough for me . Actually you could be 6’2 and built huge and this strap will be enough for you to wear this bag cross chest with room to spare. Thank you rustic town I can pass this bag down this bag is of such great quality it’s now a family heirloom .

As described and beautiful!
This bag is exactly as described if not better. Even more beautiful then I expected it to be. I was slightly hesitant to purchase it and a little nervous to receive it as some reviews said it was cheap or coloring being way off. This bag is exactly as advertised. It’s real heavy duty leather that will last a very long time and age nicely with use. The stitching and craftsmanship is wonderful and not cheap at all. All zippers and hardware seem to be well built and reliable. Can’t wait to use it!

Just fantastic and what was needed
I have several other larger leather bags and all very good!! I was looking for something slightly smaller and more structure with more key pockets. I purchased the Mulberry version and it’s completely perfect. I wrote this review pretty much immediately after opening. Packaging is fantastic and everything about this bag is even better than advertised. If they had one in black I’d purchase that as well. Very happy!

Just Came Yesterday -So Happy So Far
Just came yesterday. Great packaging for Amazon’s shipping. Looks to be the high quality that so many other reviews reported on. I was able to hold out for Prime Day Sale since no trips in the past months where I could use this and needed to order right away. But, if you have some frequent weekend type trips in near future, even if not on sale, this looks like a great bag to feel good about when using. My bet is that I’ll have this for the rest of my life. Now I need to plan a weekend getaway to sport this bag! Not sure, but I saw on some Q&As that the leather is Buffalo leather. My Mulberry choice and the quality leather is easy on my eyes for sure!

On Second Thought…
I have purchased this bag twice, but came back to revise my prior statements about the bag and reduce it from 5 stars to 4 stars.The first bag I bought was fantastic. The finish was nice, the leather was sturdy and good-looking, and the bag was durable and a good size. That bag was stolen. Considering how much I liked it, I bought it again. However, the second bag was not as high quality. While still sturdy and comparable in size (I swear the shape of the bag changed), the leather was not worked as thoroughly. In a recent trip, I had the bag over my shoulder walking through an airport while I changed flights. When I reached my destination, I noticed that the dye in the leather had stained my pants. In other words, it appeared that the leather was not finished properly. Despite using the first bag for the exact same activity several times, I did not experience the same unfortunate results. I’m going to try and buff any excess dye out. If it works, great. If not, I’m likely going to be decommissioning the bag. I get it; sometimes you get busy and quality suffers. Just a disappointment after how good my experience with the first bag was.

First impression upon receiving and after traveling with this carryon is, very impressed. For the price, I was not expecting this quality. Very nice leather which wears in beautifully.Nice size to fit under an airline seat, as well as those tiny overhead bins on regional jets. Quality, metal zippers, buttons and clasps. Padded, adjustable shoulder strap. I ordered the mulberry color because I wanted a darker, oiled look, and it didn’t disappoint. Medium-dark brown with a slight bit of red hue and lots of variation character.Definitely worth the price, and this manufacturer has several sizes available to fit your needs.

Amazing and Beautiful Product, We’ll Crafted
Absolutely love this bag. Not only is it genuine leather, extremely well made and sizeable withiut being too heavy. Upon initial receipt, I was surprised at how carefully packaged it was. It was wrapped in paper and the. wrapped in durable plastic (with particular attention paid to wrapping the metal hardware to avoid damage). There is also a detailed letter that is hand signed by the owner of the company thanking you for the purchase and encouraging a review and feedback on how to make the product even better. Love the bag and the story behind the product. Makes an amazing gift and I’m looking forward to ordering another.

The color bleeds in humid weather
I really like this bag it has this rough, simple, and unsophisticated look to it. Yet it is very stylish and high-class, it is the perfect carry-on size for any airline. You would be surprised how much you can carry inside this bag. The only down side to this bag is that the color bleeds in very humid weather conditions. Do not wear a white t-shirt, wrap this bag around your shoulders and go to some place with 80% humidity. You’ll end up with a camouflage white and brown t-shirt and stained jeans. Other than that it is a good looking bag.
